Enjoy the wonderful features offered in each plan like the open kitchen that overlooks the great room, a dedicated laundry room, spacious walk-in closets in the master bedroom, and a back patio. I love that KB is one of the few builders that still has a design studio and allows buyers to truly customize so much of their home. I really had a great home buying experience from working with a great sales rep., to an awesome designer, to a great team over at KBHS. The process was fairly easy and I love my new home.

After-the-sale performance are where they fall very short of your lowest expectations. OVERALL, KB Homes is a good builder offering a quality home at a fair price. I would recommend them to a friend with some cautions and the need for a lot of patience. A few tweaks with the personnel who has direct contact with the buyer and standing by what you say from start to finish would definitely take KB Homes from being an average builder to becoming an outstanding builder again. The entire KB team was very cooperative, helpful, patient and knowledgeable.
KB is quick to get the closing done but not so quick on getting items identified on the punch out list fixed. Need someone on site before closing to review the complete structure for finish - paint, flooring, install etc. House was not up to standards or readiness and cleanliness. House wasn’t completely finished when we moved in and it’s been 7weeks now and we are still waiting for things to be finished. We love our house just wish they would have completed the job prior to us moving in. They have great customer service after you close.
There instances where workmanship was decent, KB ended up using cheap or worn material. I was told "nothing is going to be perfect" multiple times where there were chipped rocks in our stone, warped areas in our roof, soft spots in our floor, paint to cover over chips on doors, and etc. I understand making a profit but mistakes were made multiple times over where if done correctly the first time it would have saved time and money.
